Update tool for all InkMachines powersupply products.
This software will auto detect your model and update it accordingly.
Prerequirements
- Windows® 7 or newer or Mac OS X®
- Java 1.8 installed on your computer. Java Web Start requires a recent Java installation which can be downloaded from java.com
- Use the USB cable that came with your product. TPS-500 uses USB-A to USB-mini, X2 devices uses USB-C to USB-C (USB-A to USB-C will also work)
How to update your product
- Connect your device via USB to your computer
- Download the program by clickling on this link
- Open the downloaded launch.jnlp to start the update tool
- If a window is shown asking if you want to run this application, click Run. Show example
- Wait for update tool to start
- Click on Start update button to update the update. It will take about 1 minute to update the device
- After update the device will restart automatically
Troubleshooting
1. If your device isn't being detected by the update tool
Please disconnect the USB cable, wait a couple of seconds and reinsert it
Retry by clicking on the Start Update button in the update tool.
2. If your TPS-500 gets stuck with USB ADDR or USB GSDC on display
Please disconnect the USB and wait a couple of seconds and reinsert it
Retry by clicking on the Start update button in the update tool
3. Update client reports that the device couldn't be rebooted
Please disconnect the USB and wait a couple of seconds and reinsert it
Retry by clicking on the Start update button in the update tool
